There’s nothing that dogs can’t do if they put their mind to it, and the French bulldog Ralphie is a case in point. This reformed “demon dog” is living his best life in Tennessee, and he became a true social media sensation after his skateboarding videos helped him find viral fame.
Ralphie first went viral after the New York-based nonprofit Niagara County SPCA posted a brutally honest Facebook ad trying to adopt him. They described him as a “fire-breathing demon” and “a terror in a somewhat small package”, but that didn’t stop Jason Lin from giving him the loving home that he deserves.
Lin is an experienced dog trainer from Knoxville, Tennessee, and he didn’t see Ralphie as a “demon”, but as a pet deserving of love, waiting to be tamed.
“He’s much more trusting of people now. He’ll give people the benefit of the doubt. Deep down, he’s always been a social dog. He wants to interact with people, he wants to interact with dogs, he wants to be friends with everybody, he just kinda didn’t know how to,” Lin told the Knoxville News Sentinel.
Ralphie’s progress was a joy to watch and he became quite a star on social media. In addition to starring in “Real Talk with Ralphie” videos, he also went viral thanks to his skateboarding videos, after Lin taught him how to use a skateboard.
