A dog owner named Lisa recently had to get out of the house to take care of some errands. She left her rescue pupper Nanook alone in the house as she intended to return swiftly, but Nanook didn’t take it that way and started feeling lonely.
In a recent video shared by security system company RING, Nanook can be seen howling loudly in order to make it clear that she didn’t like being alone. This activated a RING camera, allowing Lisa to communicate with the dog and tell her that everything is going to be alright and that she loves her.
This appeared to have done the trick, as Nanook soon calmed down and remained that way until her humans returned.
“Nanook was not happy with us being gone and was verbally telling the whole neighborhood how she felt about it,” Lisa shared with RING.
According to Lisa, Nanook joined her family one year ago. One of their neighbors decided to abandon the dog, and Lisa didn’t think twice before stepping in and offering her a loving home. This could definitely explain why Nanook doesn’t like it when her new humans leave her alone at the house.
