A rescue dog named Ryder recently became a big internet star thanks to a video of him demanding to be tucked in before sleep going viral.
In a video shared on TikTok, Ryder can be seen approaching his owner with a sleepy look on his face. When asked “what’s wrong?,” by his owner, the dog loudly yawns to let them know he wants to go to sleep and is waiting to be tucked in.
“Our rescue dog who spent two years in the shelter won’t go to sleep until he’s tucked in for night-night,” Ryder’s owner shared in the text placed in the video.
The video ended up receiving 3.3 million views, with internet users finding Ryder adorable and demanding to see his nightly routine. They didn’t have to wait long for that, as Ryder’s owner soon shared a follow-up video showing what happened after he asked to be tucked in for “night night.”
The clip shows Ryder putting on his pajamas, getting a treat, and then frantically making up his bed until he gets it just perfectly. His owner then tucks him into a blanket, at which point Ryder is close to falling asleep.
