Sockington the cat is one of the most popular cats on social media. With 1.22 million followers on Twitter and over 300,000 on Facebook, he has earned his fame over many years. His owner Jason Scott first made him a Twitter account in 2007 and a Facebook page in 2008. Scott found Sockington as a stray in Boston in 2004 and they immediately became best friends.
