In a viral video shared on Instagram, a golden retriever can be seen approaching a dressed mannequin in a fashion store. They sniff around it, wiggle their tail, and try to engage in some cuddling despite their owner trying to tell them it is not a real person. Even when the mannequin remains indifferent to her charm, the pupper doesn’t stop trying.

“She loves people so much! She couldn’t understand why he wasn’t petting her,” the dog’s owner wrote in caption of the video.

The video ended up spreading quickly on social media, with internet users being amazed with golden retriever’s playfulness and love for humans all over again.

“This is the most adorable thing I’ll see today. She’s so sweet,” one user wrote in the comments section.

“The dog: mom it’s LITERALLY friend shaped. What do you mean??” another added.

So next time you see a golden retriever, just give in and pet them because, obviously, they won’t take no for an answer.

Elias recently shared a video on TikTok that shows his simple solution for keeping his two golden retrievers out of the room while he cleans it. He simply blocked the entrance with two chairs, leaving the dogs confused.

The cheerful duo spent quite some time staring at the chairs and trying a few ways to beat the obstacle but found little success.

The clip became a huge hit on social media, receiving six million views since being posted earlier in January. TikTok users were absolutely cracked up by the golden retriever duo and how puzzled they were by the chairs.

 “Dog on the left is the hype man,” @greengoblxn wrote in the comments section.

One user suggested that while the chair obstacle works on golden retrievers, it might not be fitting for other breeds.

“I love how gentle they are. My German shepherd plows through my roadblocks. Even my bike she bulldozed down when I tried to block a door way with it,” @nevaxahmed concluded.

After seeing his owner using a blow dryer, Maverick was intrigued by the device and approached for a closer inspection. In that moment, his owner turned the blow dryer to the dog and showered him with waves of hot air.

This didn’t stop Maverick, however, as the cute doggo decided to try and eat the hot air. The best of all is that, although he saw this doesn’t work, he kept on trying.
