The Friendship Between This Beagle and Bunny is So Unique

Animals have shown us many times that true friendships exist between different species, even when you would never imagine it, like for example in Chloe’s and Rue’s case. The Washington-based beagle and bunny are soulmates, however, according to their mom Megan Cottone, Chloe gets called a “broken beagle” because most beagles have a prey drive to hunt bunnies.

“Her [Chloe] new thing is to bring Rue toys. So Chloe will just keep bringing her toys. And more and more, like ‘I have to show her options.’ And then pretty soon, there’s just a whole pile of toys by Rue, and Rue has no idea what is going on there,” she told The Dodo and adds that the two of them complement each other very well.

“Rue has really helped Chloe learn to be more gentle and patient. Chloe has really helped Rue become such a trusting bunny. And they show that we can be friends with people that are different than us,” Cottone said.

Now the adorable duo has even an Instagram page where their mom shares heart-warming images of their friendship. Scroll down and check them out.
