If you don’t believe that pets are able to tell what’s going on around them, you’ve probably never seen a cat or dog who needs to go to the vet. They react completely differently to these stressful situations. While dogs will explicitly let you know that they don’t want to go and even cry about it, cats have a different strategy. It’s the strategy called: if I can’t see you, you can’t see me.
