Ben Afquack has been by his dad’s side since day one, and he is just obsessed with him. He does whatever his dad does, including riding motorcycles, swimming in the lake, and going to the park.
“I bring him to beaches all the time,” Ben’s dad Derek Johnson told The Dodo. “He cuddles too. We’ll watch movies and I’ll flip him over and kind of hold him like a football. He immediately starts to fall asleep when I pet his nose and he just passes out. He’ll hang out there for an entire movie.”
The two loves going on motorcycle adventures, and Ben always travels in a see-through backpack when they are on the road.
“When I take that out, he will actually run up to it and start biting at the zippers. I think he’s put it together that any time that backpack comes out, it means we’re going to a beach or we’re going to a park,” Johnson added. “He’s just the coolest duck ever, and he actually likes me. He makes the day a little bit better.”
