Dogs making long-lasting friendships with humans and other animals is not unusual. In fact, it’s probably one of the main things that we can expect from them.
But, did you know that dogs can also be friends with inanimate objects?
Yes. It’s true. Dogs, while known for their penchant for destroying everything in their path, can actually take good care of stuffed toys, and the likes.
Proof of this is Barley and his mini-me.
This 1.5-year-old golden retriever lives in Amsterdam and enjoys a strong following of 88.3k followers on Instagram for his unbearably cute relationship with his mini-me — a stuffed toy that he carries with him everywhere he goes.
It’s an adorable friendship that we can only hope to find at least just once in our lives.
