This Mouse and Cat Eat From the Same Bowl

Cat and mouse are natural enemies. Or that is at least what we were told because we are seeing plenty of examples that show otherwise.

TikTok user Angela Mantha shared a pair of videos that document an unexpected relationship between her cat and a tiny house mouse.

The first video shows the mouse and the cat eating from the same bowl. The feline doesn’t look at all bothered by the fact she is sharing the food with a rodent.

“why do I have cats? 1 big happy family, I guess! teaching her kittens absolutely NOTHING!!!” Mantha wrote in the caption of the video, which received 6.5 million views.

Mantha later uploaded a second video that was even more shocking as it suggested that the cat had even adopted the mouse and made it part of her litter. The clip shows the rodent happily snuggling alongside kittens, and they are perfectly fine with that.

TikTok users were in awe of the scenes from the videos but also suggested Mantha to consider toxoplasmosis. Toxoplasmosis is a parasitic disease that can cause mice to lose their fear of cats. If infected, cats can suffer from symptoms like fever and loss of appetite.
