Developer Eric Blumrich is working on a new game that appeals to all the cat-loving gamers out there. It’s titled Peace Island and it revolves around a group of cats and their adventures.
The game received funding on Kickstarter, the website where the community funds interesting projects. Blumrich hoped to raise $7,000 for development but ended up with $13,000, and now we wait for the game to come out.
“Peace Island is an open-world, story-driven adventure game, currently under development,” the author writes on his website. “The story – a mix of science fiction, alternative history, and mystery – unfolds from the perspective of the nine cats who call the island home, when they wake up to find their human companions gone.”
“Peace Island will be (as the name might imply,) a non-violent interactive story which will focus on discovery, atmosphere, and exploration, rather than combat.”
