This Sweetheart is a Double Amputee Who Brings Joy To His Dad

Moby is an 11-month-old doggy who has had health issues from day one. He was paralyzed at birth and almost euthanized, but continued living on the streets of Mexico. There he got infected with MRSA and Ecoli.

Soon he was transported to the US and got into his foster home, where his foster mom took great care of him. Due to the infections, Moby had to have a bath three or four times a week. Soon, he got his DIY wheels and was ready to get adopted.

That’s where Jesse Malcomb gets into the picture. Touched by Moby’s story, he and his boyfriend decided they would adopt him. And they thought that it was the happy end the little furry friend was waiting for. But, unfortunately, it didn’t go well for him.

He had to go through double amputee surgery. However, his dad says that he still lives his life fully every single day.

“He adapts with each surgery, and they not only haven’t slowed him down – they’ve actually made him even faster,” Malcomb wrote in an Instagram post. “The world is simply better with Moby in it. It might sound cliché, but he reminds us there is no obstacle that can’t be overcome. I’m beyond lucky to have him, I’ve learned more from him than he’ll ever learn from me.”
