There is a tiny pupper from Columbia named Copito that loves soccer more than anything else. Every time there is a game on television, Copito gets his eyes glued to the screen in order not to miss a single pass or shot on goal.
Copito’s human, Michel Perilla, has been recently sharing the dog’s soccer-watching sessions on TikTok, and they have become quite popular among social media users.
In one clip, Copito can be seen watching a Copa América match featuring his home country of Colombia. The dog, who is wearing Colombia’s national team jersey, gets as close to the TV as possible and enthusiastically cheers on striker Luis Diaz as he is about to shoot a penalty kick against Costa Rica.
After Diaz scores, Copito celebrates by jumping up and down.
The clip ended up getting five million views, and TikTok users found Copito’s celebration adorable.
“Omg by far the cutest thing ever,” one TikToker commented.
It turns out that Copito is always energetic and in the mood to cheer when his favorite team is playing well. In several other clips shared by Perilla, the dog is shown celebrating in a manner that would put to shame most human soccer fans.
