People often fear snakes and don’t want to be anywhere near them, but Tiffany Jackson wanted to find out what lies on the other side of fear. She adopted her first snake two years ago and never looked back, and she now wants to help other people overcome their fears.
Jackson goes by Reptile Bae on social media, and she’s living up to this nickname. She’s a credit consultant based in Charlotte, North Carolina, who also prides herself in being a snake breeder and reptile keeper.
Jackson has come a long way since adopting her first snake in 2022. It took her two weeks to build the courage to hold her first ball python without a snake hook, and her obsession just kept growing. She bought 30 snakes in just a year, of many different ages and species, and eventually started breeding her own.
Jackson admits she had to overcome a lot of fear to get where she is today, but she’s happy that she followed her dream.
“It’s been so positive, so therapeutic, I’ve learned a lot, I’ve made some families a little happier… I’ve helped some people also overcome their fears. Yes, it’s been a challenge, but a challenge that I appreciate beyond measure,” she wrote on her Instagram.
