Catios are the latest new trend among the pet owners and for good reason. It allows felines to be outdoors and have lots of fun while also being safe. However, it appears not all cats enjoy this high-end life.
TikTok user Kayla recently shared a video showing her cat’s reaction to a new catio that cost $500. Despite the catio looking super comfortable and being furnished with a bed and lots of toys, the feline looked unimpressed with a setup. Instead, she preferred to get cozy on the boxes that the catio came in.
The clip quickly spread across social media and received 8.8 million views since being posted in early June. In the comments section, TikTok users suggested to Kayla that she puts the boxes in the catio in order to make the feline more excited about it.
“Maybe put the boxes in the Catio?” one TikToker wrote.
“He’s just pointing out that you need to put his boxes in his catio. They look hella comfy,” another added.
When you think about it, this approach could actually work. This way, the cat would have her preferred resting spot while being able to use other amenities that the catio offers.
