Chihuahuas are one of the tiniest dog breeds out there, but that’s not stopping them from being feisty and energetic. That’s certainly the case with the viral sensation Tiny Chihuahua Cedric, who happens to be even smaller than many dogs of the same breed.
Cedric was no bigger than a matchbox at the time of his adoption, and his owners quickly learned that was not a coincidence. He was born with skeletal dwarfism and a severe overbite, and his medical condition is the reason behind his distinctively adorable appearance.
Cedric was born in Estonia in 2012, and he struggled to find a loving home due to his unique needs. Shortly after adopting him, his new parents took him to Canada, and they didn’t expect him to become a pet influencer when they signed him up for YouTube and Instagram.
“To keep his Estonian family updated, Cedric’s mum started a YouTube channel, which, to our delight, attracted followers worldwide. With every video, Cedric spread smiles, happiness, and positivity far and wide,” reads Cedric’s official website.
Tiny Chihuahua Cedric is now followed by 2.5 million people on TikTok alone, and he’s living his best life with the equally adorable rescue chihuahua named Maya, who was adopted into his family in 2023.
