Although our pets don’t actually need clothes, we just can’t help dressing them up in cute clothes which somehow makes them even more adorable. This is something that two friends, Caitlin and Katey, recognized as a potential business opportunity.
Sharing a passion for sewing and crafting, these two girls, who have been friends since 5th grade, started making majestic cloaks and robes for animals and offer them to their friends, acquaintances, and members of their families who have pets. The word quickly got out about their awesome creations and more people started becoming interested in it which allowed them to focus entirely on their hobby.
Their creations are especially interesting to fantasy lovers since they are inspired by books and movies like Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, and Lord of the Rings.
“We hope that our shop reflects our passion for crafts as well as the subjects they represent, because above all thought of making money, we just want to share our ideas and passions with the world.” – the girls say on their Etsy shop page. “So much of what we sell we wish we had had access to 10 years ago, and even today we would proudly use in our own home.”
