UPS drivers tend to meet many interesting people on the job, but Jason Hardesty seems to prefer dogs over people. He became a viral sensation after he started meeting adorable puppies while delivering parcels and decided to share the photos of their encounters on social media.
Hardesty describes himself as “a very easily entertained UPS driver”, and his love for animals shines through in every photo he shares with the world. He used to encounter a lot of cute puppies on the job and started taking selfies with them for fun before one of them blew up online and later helped him become a viral sensation.
Hardesty works as a UPS driver in New Orleans, and he started running into many friendly dogs who wanted to play with him after being moved to a younger neighborhood.
“I formed a lot of relationships with dogs, dogs hear the truck and they run to the door and they know it’s me at some of the houses… The area I am in is very dog-friendly so most of the dogs want to play because there’s not that many children around, so dogs don’t feel the need to protect as much,” he told Bored Panda.
Most of Hardesty’s photos are taken by the dog owners themselves, and they helped him attract 160,000 followers to his Instagram page.
