Watch a Cat Taking Advantage of Being Left Alone in Her New Home For the First Time

Dogs usually need some time to get accustomed to having a new home and different surroundings. On the other hand, cats adapt quite quickly. As soon as they arrive at a new place, they immediately believe they own it and get as comfy as possible. A recent funny video shared on Reddit shows this side of cats perfectly.

In a clip shared by u/Rearrangioing, a cat can be seen running up and down the living room and doing zoomies while looking like she is having the time of her life. It turned out that the feline moved in just recently and was alone in her new home for the first time.

“Left my new cat alone for first time this morning and she is not missing me! “u/Rearrangioing wrote alongside the video.

Reddit users absolutely loved the video, prompting u/Rearrangioing to share more details about the cat in the comments section. According to them, the cat spent the previous several months in a shelter, so she is most likely making up for the time she didn’t have the freedom to do whatever she wanted.

Additionally, they shared that the cat’s name is Penny and posted a photo of the feline when she’s not doing zoomies.
