A runaway ostrich recently caused chaos on the streets of Yilong, China, when he decided to join the rush-hour traffic. The bird was on the loose for half an hour, racing alongside cars and startling pedestrians, until its owner finally managed to capture it.
Footage of ostrich in action, comprised out of CCTV and dashcam recordings, recently surfaced on the internet showing the feathered sprinter in action. The bird, 6ft 7in tall, can be seen running wild on the sidewalks, crossing intersections and causing a halt on the road during the rush hour.
Luckily, neither the ostrich nor the people were harmed, and we got an amusing clip out of this incident. Check it out below.
