Cats can be enigmatic, free-willed, and unpredictable, but there is no doubt that they can make anyone fall in love with them, whether it’s humans or other animals.
In a recent viral clip shared on Instagram by animal sanctuary Texas Fawn and Friends, a cat can be seen being showered with kisses by her two fawn friends. The fawns take turns kissing her while the feline looks like she is enjoying every moment of it.
“Calico Cuteness … Love Lives Here,” Texas Fawn and Friends wrote in the caption of the video.
The clip went on to get more than 200K likes since it was posted back in June, and Instagram users found the scene heartwarming.
“They are different but they still spread a love,” one person wrote in the comments section.
“Cat is like: These are my peeps it’s ok. We cool,” another added.
Some users also suggested that fawns were not simply showing affection for their feline friend, they also wanted to get some salt off her fur. Deer can experience sodium deficiency due to high water and potassium intake from their diet, so they are always on the lookout for salt. Cat fur, on the other hand, apparently has a slightly salty taste, making it attractive lick for the fawns.
