YouTuber MrBeast Helps 100 Dogs to Find a New Home

YouTuber MrBeast, real name Jimmy Donaldson, is known for his philanthropic efforts, having previously donated food to food banks, built wells in Africa, and helped students pay their college tuition, among other things. Recently, he decided to spread his generosity to 100 dogs, which he helped find a new home.

Donaldson teamed up with Big Dog Ranch Rescue to build a massive dog sanctuary where they gathered dogs that were “abandoned or rescued from kill shelters.” He then launched a massive marketing campaign to get people to visit the sanctuary and adopt a dog. They also recruited Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista to spread the news.

Of course, people couldn’t just come in and take the dog. Donaldson hired an independent agency to do an extensive background check on every person that wanted to make the adoption, ensuring that each puppy ended up in a loving family.

Once people committed to adopt a dog and provide him a home, Donaldson would surprise them with a special gift; the dog would get free food and pet insurance for the rest of their life.

The adoption event ended up being a resounding success, with all 100 dogs getting a new home. Donaldson also donated $100,000 to Big Dog Ranch Rescue to support their cause.
