Most animals look cute and adorable wearing clothes and accessories, but Zappa The Cat took the pet fashion to a whole other level.
Zappa is a 4-year-old feline who recently earned a reputation of being the most stylish pet on Instagram thanks to wowing photos that her owner Lana Vermeegen shares on social media.
The photos show Zappa wearing pieces like Supreme hoodies, Gucci shirts or Vetements raincoats while rocking awesome poses characteristic for high fashion models.
The fact that these high-profile brands don’t make clothes for pets didn’t stop Zappa from rocking their pieces thanks to the fact that Lana is a talented designer.
“Almost all of her looks are custom made,” Lana told People. “It began with some black blank hoodies I ordered for Zappa because I thought it would look cute on her. I’ve made the Supreme box logo hoodie myself using a real Supreme tag from an old sweater. Sometimes I also coincidently find a little item that would look great on Zappa. But I mostly enjoy making the custom items. It’s a challenge to get as close to the “human” version as possible.”
While the majority of pets have a hard time posing for photos, it turns out that Zappa is natural.
“A lot of the times we don’t have to do anything for it,” she adds. “She’s a very natural model! But she also has some days that she’s not really into to it and then we try to distract her with toys and treats. “
