]]>Carrie shared Cecil’s story in a reel posted on social media. According to her, this was the first time that the dog had done anything wrong. He was, of course, forgiven on the spot, despite Carrie and Clayton having to dig through his vomit and poop to get the cash back.
In a chat with The Washington Post, Carrie explained that she and Clayton got the money from their savings account in order to pay for fence installation. They left it on the kitchen counter, but when they returned half an hour later, they found pieces of dollar bills and Cecil looking like he just had a big lunch.
“Cecil’s a goofy guy, and he’s very particular — you could leave a steak on the table, and he wouldn’t touch it because he’s not food motivated,” Carrie told The Washington Post. “But apparently he is money motivated.”
Eventually, after calling in the veterinarian and making sure Cecil was in no danger, the couple embarked on a quest to salvage as much money as they could. They ended with $3,550 in salvageable bills and a story of a lifetime.

]]>TikTok user Lauren Dennehy recently came home and found that her living room turned into a mess. A video she posted on social media shows a floor covered in pillow stuffing and a Labrador sitting on a couch and looking all but innocent.
At one point, the camera zooms in on the dog and captures the guiltiest look you will ever see.
“who do we think ripped up the pillow while I was gone?” Dennehy asked in the video, which got 1.6 million views since being posted in March.
Other TikTok users tried to help Dennehy to solve the mystery of the ripped up pillow in the comments section. While they didn’t know who did that, they were certain they know who had nothing to do with it.
“definitely not the fine gentleman sitting there minding his own business,” @franhoneysett wrote.
“I honestly don’t think it was him,” @ac7185 added.
“we may never know and must accept that,” @whoruntheworldpearl pointed out.

]]>Dog owner Mikaela Batz recently decided to put her Labrador Elvis to the test in order to see whether he can resist the urge to be mischievous when she sleeps. In a video posted on Elvis’ Instagram account, Batz can be seen pretending to sleep while holding a carrot in her hand.
Elvis, who is sitting on the floor, is looking at the carrot and is initially unsure whether he should take it. However, the more the canine looks at the carrot, the more it becomes attractive to him. Eventually, decides to take out of Batz’s hand while being extremely cautious in order not to wake her up.
As soon as Elvis starts eating the carrot, Batz “wakes up.” The dog gives his owner a guilty look but doesn’t stop eating the carrot.
The funny video quickly spread on social media. Instagram users were amused by Elvis’ inner struggles and thoughts, which were presented in the form of subtitles, as well as the fact that he failed to resist the temptation. You can check it out below.

]]>In a clip posted by @goldengirl_xena, one human dad shows how hard it is to do something around his two golden retrievers, Xena and Finn. Whether it is something as simple as putting on the shoes or focus-requiring like working from home, their golden retrievers are relentless in wanting to get in on the action.
“No solo moments with goldens,” it says in the caption of the video.
The video prompted other TikTokers to share their experience of dealing with golden retriever’s affection.
“I have to sleep in another bedroom now. I start in mine, they get on, and then I sneak away. They sleep sideways,” one golden retriever owner shared in the comments section.
However, it is safe to say that TikTokers absolutely love the way golden retrievers behave.
“That’s what makes them FABULOUS!,” @eyoung67 wrote.
“I want these problems,” @heylookitsaissa added.

]]>Matteson was shocked at the sight and believed he was seeing things. Was someone playing a trick on him? How could his dog have climbed up a ladder all on his own?
Curious to get to the bottom of this, Matteson went into his house and checked the footage from the security cameras installed in his backyard. That’s when he ended up being even more surprised.
It turned out that there was no mystery to the event and that Ace casually used the ladder to climb on the roof.
Matteson shared the footage of Ace’s climbing skills on TikTok, and the video quickly went viral.
However, there was the small issue of getting him down. Even though his dog could climb up the ladder, getting down was a lot more dangerous.
“My roommate was home, called him up, and the only thing I said was ‘Umm…. Grant… Will you come out to the backyard for a second?’ He climbed up the ladder, and I handed him, Ace,” Matteson revealed in a recent interview. “Ace is about 75 lbs, so it was definitely a difficult task.”
