According to Heil, she started experimenting with Hank’s look while being in isolation due to the coronavirus pandemic. At first, she would just fix him with different hairstyles, but she quickly got other entertaining ideas.

Heil started incorporating clothes into Hank’s makeovers and would give him a new one each day. This included her own fashion creations as well as recreating popular looks from TV shows and movies.

According to Heil, Hank enjoys these activities and is a good sport when it comes to being patient.

“Hank is a Newfoundland, and exemplifies that breed. He has an overwhelmingly calm and relaxed disposition,” Heil told My Modern Met in a recent interview. “When we are giving Hank his little ‘makeovers’ he will sit up and pose, and usually try kissing you the entire time. We cannot take much longer than 5-10 minutes on each pose, because once the drool starts it’s game over!”

The word quickly got out about their awesome creations and more people started becoming interested in it which allowed them to focus entirely on their hobby.

Their creations are especially interesting to fantasy lovers since they are inspired by books and movies like Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, and Lord of the Rings.

“We hope that our shop reflects our passion for crafts as well as the subjects they represent, because above all thought of making money, we just want to share our ideas and passions with the world.” – the girls say on their Etsy shop page. “So much of what we sell we wish we had had access to 10 years ago, and even today we would proudly use in our own home.”

Zappa is a 4-year-old feline who recently earned a reputation of being the most stylish pet on Instagram thanks to wowing photos that her owner Lana Vermeegen shares on social media.

The photos show Zappa wearing pieces like Supreme hoodies, Gucci shirts or Vetements raincoats while rocking awesome poses characteristic for high fashion models.

The fact that these high-profile brands don’t make clothes for pets didn’t stop Zappa from rocking their pieces thanks to the fact that Lana is a talented designer.

“Almost all of her looks are custom made,” Lana told People. “It began with some black blank hoodies I ordered for Zappa because I thought it would look cute on her. I’ve made the Supreme box logo hoodie myself using a real Supreme tag from an old sweater. Sometimes I also coincidently find a little item that would look great on Zappa. But I mostly enjoy making the custom items. It’s a challenge to get as close to the “human” version as possible.”

While the majority of pets have a hard time posing for photos, it turns out that Zappa is natural.

“A lot of the times we don’t have to do anything for it,” she adds. “She’s a very natural model! But she also has some days that she’s not really into to it and then we try to distract her with toys and treats. “
