Animal Shelter Wants Actor Paul Rudd to Adopt a Dog That Looks Like Him

If Ant-Man star Paul Rudd ever wanted to adopt a dog, now’s the time. Tennessee animal shelter Town of Collierville has a resident that looks just like the famous actor and believes the two would be a perfect match.

In a viral Twitter post, the Town of Collierville shared a collage in which they showcase the similarities between Rudd and his dog lookalike nicknamed Pawl Ruff. The photos compare the two smiling, being playful, and donning their best serious face.

“While making love connections between pets and people today, we discovered one of our dogs is meant to be with Paul Rudd,” shared Town of Collierville staff.

Since Rudd isn’t active on Twitter, the shelter tagged the official Ant-Man Twitter profile, hoping the story would reach the actor.

“And honestly, what is more heroic than adopting a shelter pet?” added the shelter.

Pawl Ruff is a 2-year-old Australian Shepherd mix who arrived in the Town of Collierville in January. According to manager Brandon Wallace, the canine is a “goofball, but also extremely charming,” possessing similar characteristics to most of the characters Paul Rudd portrays on the big screen.

It remains to be seen whether the story reaches Rudd and he decides to open the doors of his home for his doppelganger. If not, there is no doubt that there is plenty of dog lovers out there who are ready to provide the cute doggo with a new home.
