]]>House Rabbit Network was founded with two goals in mind – rescuing homeless rabbits and finding them indoor homes, in addition to educating the public about rabbits and their care. They’ve been doing pretty well for themselves since their foundation, placing an average of 400-500 bunning each year into loving homes.
Like many adoption services in recent years, HRN is harnessing the power of social media to find suitable homes for the shelter bunnies. They’re constantly sharing the photos of adorable rabbits that are up to adoption and describing their charming personalities and quirks, while also explaining how to take proper care of them.
In addition to looking for responsible owners for the bunnies from their shelter, House Rabbit Network offers a wide variety of different services to help them out while they’re still around. They’re constantly searching for foster homes for discarded domestic rabbits, in addition to providing veterinary care, rehabilitation for mistreated animals, and permanently caring for the bunnies who can’t be placed in adoptive homes.

]]>Rabbits are social animals, which is why they will enjoy it most if they are kept indoors. It also keeps them safe because they are vulnerable to predators.
Bunnies are energetic, so they don’t like to be cramped up in small spaces. Make sure their habitat is big enough to allow them to move around and play with their toys. Also, keep it well maintained to avoid bad odors.
Your bunny should spend more than a few hours outside their enclosure. They are naturally curious and love freedom, which is why they need to be allowed to explore the house and jump around a bit. This also helps them stay active and exercise.
Bunnies need a lot of love, cuddles and attention to be happy, so make sure you give them plenty of that. Also, they are required to have regular visits to veterinarians so they remain in great health.

Have you ever noticed that rabbits have a habit to jump and twist their head in mid-air when they’re really happy? Well, it turns out there’s a name for this playful leap—a rabbit binky.
It’s no secret that rabbits have exceptionally amazing hearing thanks to their large ears, but did you know that they can turn their ears by 180 degrees and use them to radiate away excess heat?
Rabbits can also keep a close watch for predators because they have 360-degree vision, despite the fact they’re born with their eyes shot.
Carrots are often seen as rabbits’ favorite food, probably thanks to Bugs Bunny, but they can actually give you bunny an upset stomach because they’re too high in sugar.

]]>Miffy didn’t used to be a cuddler. However, when his mom got pregnant with his human baby brother, he immediately shifted and became the cuddliest pet ever.
“When he found out that I was pregnant, he would lay by my belly and cuddle with me,” his mom told in a statement for The Dodo. “When I first got him, he wasn’t really cuddly, but what really made us closer was my pregnancy.”
He was checking if his mom was okay by standing by the bedroom door, waiting for her to wake up. But when little Skay was born, Miffy fell in love at the first sniff.
“I was really worried that Miffy would get jealous, but on the second morning, Miffy jumped next to the baby, he sniffed the baby really gently,” she added.
Now the bunny and the little boy are having the best time. They cuddle together, eat together, sleep together and play together. They are brothers made in heaven!

Lucky timing is what it was. I definitely think that she had waited to make sure that she was safe before she gave birth.”
According to Christina, Rose is a great mom, taking care of her little ones so perfectly.
“But I learned how important it is for animals to be with their moms. Watching the babies grow and watching her grow with her babies is so sweet,” she added.
She also said that when the babies are big enough, Rose and Ruby will be up for adoption. Indeed, they’re looking for a forever home where they can both be together.
