]]>The brilliant idea came to Pavel’s mind a year ago, when he lost his beloved four-legged pet named Barsik. The boy wanted to help animals in need and that’s why he started a project called “Kind paintbrush,” with the help of his mother Ekaterina Bolshakova.
Thanks to his amazing talent, Pavel is able to help the local shelter by painting animal portraits. In return, pet owners have to donate kilograms of dog food, dog collars, medicine, and other things that these animals need. Pavel’s project already became widely popular and people from all over Russia are ordering their pet portraits and making their contributions. He even sent his artwork to foreign counties such as Spain and Germany.
Pavel and his mother also manage a group on Russian social media site, VK, called “What a little volunteer is capable of?” and they’re trying to educate and show people what each individual can do to help animals in need.
At such a young age, Pavel is setting a great example for all of us, so make sure to follow and support his work.

]]>“I have been working with spray paint for over 10 years and like most graffiti artists I started by painting letters on walls. Over the years I grew tired of seeing my work painted over and wanted to produce something that people could keep,” the artist wrote on his website.
“I began by painting human portraits and one day a friend asked if I would paint their two dogs. Pet Portraits by Jeff Evans was born and the rest is history.”
Evans claims that all of his work is freehand and he does not use stencils. Even though he still likes to create graffiti, the artist claims that painting on small canvases is helping him improve his skills.

]]>A company named Crown & Paw specializes in creating amazing and unique pet portraits that are inspired by 19th-century paintings and the rare Renaissance-era. They can easily transform any pet into a member of royalty and the paintings we’ve seen so far and priceless.
“We design them all by hand using a range of blending and retouching techniques,” the company representative explained in an interview for Bored Panda. “All of our prints are completely unique to you and aren’t available anywhere else in the world.”
Even though they started this business in March 2019, the company already has a rich portfolio of astonishing portraits of dogs and cats, but also goats, a hedgehog, and a snake. Yes, that’s right! A snake can be a royal, too.
Take a look at some of their artwork and think about getting one of these portraits for your pet as well.

“I ask my customers to provide me with photos of their animal, which often includes long emotional emails filled with tales of love and loss. I love those emails. I review the photos and “tap into” their furry friend’s likeness and personality. I let the pet’s character come to me,” Eriksdotter explained her creative process in an interview for My Modern Met.

]]>The artist is illustrating animals like tigers, pandas, rabbits, and elephants, but it seems that her biggest inspiration is cats. Levy is a big fan of felines and as a cat owner herself, she’s very successful in capturing their unique nature.
The fact that she’s mostly illustrating cats, doesn’t mean that the artist forgot about our best friends – dogs. On the contrary! Levy is often illustrating dogs who are sometimes accompanied by their owners.
“Dog’s are (wo)man’s best friend forever. They are a constant source of surprises and rewards. They love you no matter what and are the best therapy when you’re feeling down. Dogs are better than ice cream and they can enjoy each day to the fullest,” the artist said.
Levy has her own Etsy Shop where you can order some of her beautiful illustrations. She also makes custom portraits of your pet that you can hang on your wall.
