Southern Nature Farm recently shared a clip on TikTok that shows a group of cats taking on sheep herding duties. The felines confidently make their way down a road while being followed by a herd of obedient sheep and goats who are not even thinking about getting out of the line.

“New Sheep leaders,” Southern Nature Farm wrote in the caption of the video.

This entertaining clip quickly spread on social media, getting 2.2 million views since being posted in late December.

“The cat overlords have organized their sheep minion army,” one TikTok user joked in the comments section.

The video above shows just how valuable cats can be to farm owners. First of all, they protect the farm from rodents, preventing damage and the spread of illnesses by exterminating them. Secondly, they are always nearby when farm owners take a breather and need some company while also getting great together with other animals. The video, which resurfaced again recently, shows a woman approaching Paulo, who is drinking water from an improvised cup, and telling him “Buongiorno.” The feline lifts his head and meows “Buongiorno” in response.

The woman is quite impressed with Paulo’s Italian and tries to get him to “say” a few more words, but the cat doesn’t seem in the mood for that and instead just begins his stretching routine.

The clip has been shared all across social media in recent months, while the original video received 9.2 million views since being uploaded in 2023. It baffled the internet users who didn’t hide their astonishment.

“Did that cat just speak Italien?” one puzzled user wrote in the comments section.

In a recent viral video shared on X (former Twitter), one Istanbul street cat can be seen approaching a man who is enjoying a meal outdoors. The feline takes a look at all the delicious food and then taps a man on his arm with its paw to let him know she would like a bite as well.

The man, unable to resist the cat’s request, slices a piece of meat and gives it to her.

Meeting a cat on the streets of Istanbul is nothing uncommon. There are an estimated 125,000 stray cats living in the city, although they are commonly considered to be “community pets. “Locals often place food and water in front of their homes for the cats while the city provides various shelters and vending machines that dispense cat food.

YouTube channel ViralHog recently shared a clip captured by one cat owner in West Carrollton, Ohio. The clip shows a blind feline named Momo successfully climbing down a scratching post all by herself.

Momo can be seen standing on the top level of the post and using her sense of touch to decide where to go next. The cat first explores the borders of each post before finding the best route to go forward. At one point, she hangs from one plank using her front paws while tapping around with her rear paws until she finds the bottom plank.

Eventually, she safely gets down and hops on the couch.

According to Momo’s owner, the cat is dealing exceptionally well with her condition and isn’t letting the lack of sight prevent her from enjoying life.

“She chases her siblings around and mostly doesn’t run into things. I’ve even seen her jump up from the floor to the armrest of the green chair she walks on in the video. It’s still hard to hold myself back, but she’s shown me she’s got it handled,” the cat’s owner explained.
