]]>Generally, the colors we see each ocean as is the color that is being reflected from it. The ocean color is determined by what is in the ocean, the color that it absorbs, and the color it reflects.
Oceans containing lots of phytoplankton will be seen as green. The chlorophyll in these tiny plants causes them to absorb blue light and reflect a kind of yellowish-green light. This is why such oceans are seen as green oceans.
Some oceans may have some reddish color. This is not necessarily blood, but could also be organisms referred to as the dinoflagellates. The reddish appearance indicates that the ocean contains lots of dinoflagellates. Dinoflagellates are reddish.
The blue color observed in many oceans indicates the absence of tiny plants referred to as phytoplankton. When they are absent in oceans, the light from the sun goes through a certain depth of the ocean and hits the water molecules. These water molecules in return absorb red lights and reflect blue light. This makes the water look bluish.
Oceans may be sometimes appear brownish at places close to the shore. This is usually so when the sediments at the bottom of the ocean are stirred, and the whole thing mixes up with the water. At times the sediments lying at the bottom are not stirred, but new sediments are finding their way into the ocean through rivers and streams.

]]>For sharks to keep receiving oxygen, water needs to be kept in constant motion over their gills. This indirectly means that they will need to be in a state of constant motion. But does this mean that sharks must never stop moving, and by implication will never sleep?
This may be true for some sharks, while it’s not so for some sharks. Some sharks need to remain in motion to allow water to cover their gills. However, some sharks have spiracles. This structure allows them to breathe while lying down at the bottom of the ocean. It allows them to breathe well while in a state of rest.
Sharks that need to be in motion to make breathing possible have their active periods and their resting period. However, they do not sleep as we do, but they seem to be sleeping while in motion. At this moment, a portion of their brain becomes less active which fulfils the portion of the dictionary’s description of sleep- “suspending consciousness.”
Research shows that sharks do not use their brains for movement, but their spinal cords coordinate the whole process of swimming. This means that they can do swimming while being unconscious.
So, sharks actually fulfill the dictionary’s description of what it means to sleep, except that they don’t sleep as human do.

The bears are another type of animals regarded as more deadly than they have been. On average, both the black and brown bears kill about three persons yearly in the US and Canada which are their native land.
The fact is some spiders are dangerous. An example is a black widow. However, many types of spiders cannot hurt you. In the United States, spiders kill about seven humans per year. This is fewer than the numbers of death caused by some other creatures that are less dreadful.
Stingrays are passive in nature but sting whenever they feel endangered. They kill about two persons per year.

]]>This caracal cat didn’t have nice words for her owner when he got back late after cheating with another cat.
Her owner opened the door, and she was eagerly waiting at the door. She welcomed him and began to smell his body for traces of the cheating escapade. She hisses each time she smells it. The whole conversation was transcribed for non-cat speakers, and it is simply hilarious.
She was not pleased with the betrayal, and she wasn’t afraid to show it. The snarling and hissing showed how hurt she was. Watch the video below.
