]]>One dog owner recently shared a video on Instagram that shows their cocker spaniel named Evie overcoming a gate that should prevent her from going up the stairs. The adorable dog simply takes advantage of its slim and nimble body through a small gap between the gate and the wall. Easy-peasy.
“Evie, the full-time rebel, has always hated any obstacle to stop her from where she wants to go. Should have known the stair gate would be no match for her!” Evie’s owner wrote in the caption of the video
They also explained that they had to make some modifications to the obstacle in order to preserve the health of Evie’s joints but that the dog is not particularly happy about it.
“We’ve had to do some adjustments to the gate, now she can’t get up and affect her joints in this delicate puppy stage, BUT SHE IS SO CROSS AT US FOR DOING SO,” Evie’s owner explained.
Still, we wouldn’t be so sure that the adjustments will work. Judging by how Evie solved the original obstacle, we wouldn’t be surprised if she finds a way around the modified version as well.

]]>A viral video shared by TikTok user @zxq8279 shows a Golden Retriever sitting in front of the TV and watching a movie. The scene shows a group of men sitting at a table and having a meal.
At one point, one character takes a bite of what seems to be a piece of bread and outstretches his arm. The dog immediately takes that as an invitation and goes in for a bit. Unfortunately, he meets the screen and learns by lick test that the food isn’t real.
After standing confused and bowing his head, the pupper ends up walking away in disappointment.
The video ended up causing a lot of TikTok users to feel sorry for the dog, and many of them demanded that its owner make things right.
“We allll need a video of you giving him a treat,” one TikToker commented.
“GIVE THAT BOY A TREAT,” another added.
It is unclear whether the doggo ended up getting the treat, but we like to believe he did. Nothing else would be right.

]]>Dog owner Mikaela Batz recently decided to put her Labrador Elvis to the test in order to see whether he can resist the urge to be mischievous when she sleeps. In a video posted on Elvis’ Instagram account, Batz can be seen pretending to sleep while holding a carrot in her hand.
Elvis, who is sitting on the floor, is looking at the carrot and is initially unsure whether he should take it. However, the more the canine looks at the carrot, the more it becomes attractive to him. Eventually, decides to take out of Batz’s hand while being extremely cautious in order not to wake her up.
As soon as Elvis starts eating the carrot, Batz “wakes up.” The dog gives his owner a guilty look but doesn’t stop eating the carrot.
The funny video quickly spread on social media. Instagram users were amused by Elvis’ inner struggles and thoughts, which were presented in the form of subtitles, as well as the fact that he failed to resist the temptation. You can check it out below.

]]>A viral video recently shared by Instagram user @sheepdogsky shows an adorable Old English Sheepdog named Sky watching TV. When her human switches the channel to a program showing a herd of sheep, Sky immediately goes into her herding mode.
As soon as she notices sheep on the screen, Sky darts towards the TV and starts jumping around and barking in hopes that those sheep will obey her.
“She’s been addicted to this TV specially when sheep are on … wait to the end – one day she’ll knock this tv off,“ it says in the caption of the video.
Old English Sheepdogs usually display some basic herding instincts and capabilities on their own. However, in modern times, that instinct is less prominent, considering the breed isn’t being used for herding that often. Instead, they are mainly show dogs or pets. With that being said, Old English Sheepdogs can still be trained to reach their full herding potential and become successful herding dogs.

]]>TikTok user @jen.and.teddy recently shared one of these situations in a clip posted on social media. The video shows Labrador retriever Teddy watching his reflection in the mirror while being snuggled in a blanket. Soon, Teddy starts growling at the reflection, probably thinking some dog dared to enter his household.
It didn’t help that Teddy’s human was trying to tell the dog that he was looking at himself. Teddy didn’t calm down until he approached the mirror and sniffed the “intruder,” only to realize there was no danger.
“I never claimed he was clever,” Teddy’s human wrote in the caption of the video.

As it turns out, it isn’t uncommon for Teddy to be overprotective.
“We can’t move anything in the garden without him having an issue with it. Postman left a parcel in the garden and the way Ted reacted I thought someone was breaking in!” @jen.and.teddy shared while responding to one of the comments on the video.
The TikToker later also added that Teddy doesn’t just see his reflection or postman as a threat, he also has beef with snowmen. But we understand him, it is always better to be safe than sorry.

]]>Instagram user KK Pinkowski recently shared a video that shows her dog Norma having a hilarious reaction when facing a group of baby pigs.
The video starts with Norma standing at the door, getting ready to walk out.
“This is what you’ve been training for. Okay. You ready? You ready? Go, go, go!,” Norma’s owner can be heard telling the dog.
As soon as the door opens, Norma gets in a full sprint but immediately stops when she sees three baby pigs at the doorstep. The pupper manages to get a few barks out of her before running away in the opposite direction.
As it turns out, Norma isn’t the biggest fan of baby pigs, or any other pigs for that matter.
“Norma’s non-negotiable is baby pigs. Or pigs of any age really,” her owner explains the Norma’s reaction in the caption of the video. “She won’t go near them, she isn’t interested in playing with them, and she for sure isn’t going to corral them back to their pen. Full stop, Norma says no to pigs.”

Herbie isn’t interested in running around like most other dogs do, and instead makes sure to follow the white line on the road. It is almost like the pupper is playing a game of “floor is lava” to make its daily walks a bit more entertaining.
“My dog will only walk on the white line,” Clark wrote in the video that received more than five million views since being posted in late 2023.
After watching the video, other TikTokers got the feeling that Herbie was indeed playing some games. “He’s collecting coins only he can see,” one user wrote in the comments section.
One TikToker, on the other hand, suggested it is part of the dachshund’s personality. “Hes a dachshund its only natural he follows the racing line,” they wrote.
Whatever it might be, we are sure that Herbie is having a lot of fun following the white line. And he looks so adorable doing it.

]]>Apparently, @denvergameryt recently arrived home to discover that his three Great Dane dogs had made a mess in the house. He decided to put the canines through an interrogation process, and it is safe to say that one of them didn’t do well under pressure.
In the clip, which has had more than three million views since being posted in late January, the TikToker can be seen entering the living room and approaching each dog to try and figure out who the culprit is. Two dogs are unfazed by his interrogation, but the third one is sitting there with the most “guilty as charged” look on his face.
The clip left internet users in stitches while they tried to guess what the guilty dog was thinking in the comments section.
“Just smile so I look innocent.. he’ll never know it’s me,” one user wrote.
