Creating your own indoor garden is easier said than done, and if you’re still a beginner on your plant journey, you’ll need all the help you can get. Chantel Gray learned how to take care of plants through trial and error, and she’s now using her social media platform to make things easier for other plant lovers out there.
Gray’s plant adventure started when she decided to order a Fiddle Leaf Fig online, only to learn it’s one of the most difficult houseplants to keep alive. This experience forced her to do a lot of research and become a walking houseplant encyclopedia, and she believes she wouldn’t be where she is today without it.
After gaining confidence with this plant, she decided to expand her houseplant collection, and she’s been doing it ever since. Gray is also sharing her tips and tricks with over 400,000 followers across Instagram and TikTok, after welcoming over 200 plants into her home.
“Not only did I have this great love for houseplants, but it filled that teaching itch that I had. I remembered how frustrating the beginning stages of plant parenthood were, and made it my mission to help others on their jungle journey,” she explains on her official website.
