]]> Most dogs live for the moments when they can just walk around and explore the world. However, one Labrador named Bruce doesn’t seem to be one of them, and he even devised a smart tactic to avoid having to walk with his owner.

Bruce’s owner, Amy Nicholson, recently posted an amusing video on TikTok that shows the dog faking an injury so he could avoid walking further.

In the clip, Bruce can be seen walking reluctantly to Nicholson before deciding he had enough. The pupper then simply raises his paw and makes it look like it was broken. After seeing his owner isn’t buying it, he ends his act.

“You don’t fool me Bruce! Does anyone elses dog do this?” wrote in the caption of a video that got 5.6 million views since being shared earlier in April.

As it turns out, Bruce isn’t the only dog who tries to get away from certain activities by faking an injury.

“My dog does this. sometimes he forgets what paw hurts and switches between them,” one TikToker shared in the comments section.

“My pug didn’t want to go for walks so faked a limp, £100 later at the vets and they told me he was FAKING IT,” another added.

This isn’t all that surprising since many people claim that the presence of pets helps them have better sleep. But as a recent viral video on TikTok shows, this practice comes with unique challenges.

A TikTok profile @thehuskyfam recently shared a funny video that shows what it’s like to share a bed with two huskies. Recorded by a night camera, the clip features a timelapse of a couple sleeping with their pets curled under their feet. The dogs are seen taking up a big portion of the bed throughout the night, moving around, and even going for a walk.

“We had no idea how much they hog the bed!” the voiceover in the video explains.

The video proved to be quite popular and attracted hundreds of comments from other TikTok users. Some shared their own experiences about sleeping with their pets, while others were entertained by how the owners and the dogs behaved. 

“I’m sending this to my husband who complains about how much space our two little yorkie poms take up on our bed at night,” wrote one user.

“I can’t figure out who moved more, you guys or the dogs,” added another.

So there you have it. If you intend to sleep with your dogs or other pets, make sure there is enough room for all of you on the bed. Or be ready to give up the majority of space to them.

He has a funny smile that can truly make your day. However, he’s even more hilarious when his owner tries to pose for a picture with him. Before the shot, Sparky suddenly melts in Kennedy Simmons’ hands.

Simmons is a veterinary assistant and met Sparky at the office. He had broken his leg with his previous family. Although he got surgery, his family was super scared to let him do anything that could cause him to injure himself again. That’s when Sparky got a new dad.

“Sparky is so fun to be around. He is the biggest goofball, but he is also very mischievous. If you don’t have eyes on him, he gets up on the table and snags food or goes and grabs my socks from the hamper,” Simmons said in an interview for Bored Panda.

Unfortunately, the dog’s leg had to be amputated because the pain still hasn’t stopped after the second surgery. However, it hasn’t stop Sparky’s soul from blossoming and his body from melting.

“He is definitely obsessed with singing. He is a big fan of Disney. Also Broadway,” she says in an interview for The Dodo and explains how the singing happened. “One day I was just playing a guitar and singing and he decided to start singing along.” And never stopped.

Some might say that Casper is tone-deaf, as his singing voice is quite unique. But to his owner and the online community is the most beautiful music. Whenever Quinn starts to sing, the canine can’t help but join in.

“He has to steal the spotlight,” Quinn adds.

The doggo’s singing talent has become quite well-known in the online community and he has even been featured on America’s Got Talent.

While Casper may not be the next American Idol, he certainly brings joy to all who hear him sing. His love for music and his owner’s voice is truly special and it is a joy to witness their bond every time they perform together.

]]> The audience and the judges at the recent Miss São Mateus do Sul beauty pageant in Brazil witnessed a unique catwalk performance that they won’t forget anytime soon. At one point during the competition, a super-confident dog crashed the stage and completely stole the show.

Danieli Link Weber, who was among the people who watched the pageant, fortunately, recorded the whole thing and later posted it on her TikTok. The short clip, which quickly became viral,  shows the dog taking an elegant walk down the runway, stopping to give the audience a brief look. He then gets off the stage, leaving everyone amazed.

The Dodo reached out to Weber, who revealed that everyone at the show was thrilled by the surprise competitor.  “I laughed and clapped,” Weber said. “I thought it was great. He was cheered. There was a lot of laughter and applause from the audience.”

Everyone at Miss São Mateus do Sul immediately crowned the dog as the winner of the competition. Even the official winner of the pageant, Jennifer Jaworski, admitted that the dog got the biggest ovations. And she didn’t even mind.  

“I loved how everyone reacted to him,” Jaworski shared. “I definitely applauded even more. I love animals.”

The latter case turns out to be more common than we realize and is best seen in a viral Twitter thread by Barcelona-based user Joaquim Campa.

Campa recently decided to start a series of posts on social media in which he finds showcases adorable dogs from around the world that could serve as doppelgangers for various celebrities. The thread quickly became popular, and rightfully so as the resemblance between celebs and doggos is incredible.

Just take a look at these two adorable canines that look just like Richard Gere and John Travolta. You would probably think the same even without the title helping you recognize the link.

Other Twitter users also joined in the fun and shared more photos of dogs looking like celebs. This includes a pup that unbelievably resembles Star Trek star Patrick Stewart.

Campa updated the thread with more examples later on and even shared canines that look like Russia’s President Vladimir Putin and businessman Richard Branson. Check them out below.

Well, one dog is trying to change this. An adorable puppy by the name of Baboy has taken his protest to Instagram, where his owner regularly shares all sorts of demonstrating signs.

Baboy’s fight was inspired by the popular Instagram profile “Dude with Sign” according to his owner. Although it all started as a fun side project, the doggo’s protests quickly won over the internet with his funny messages, and he now has more than 100,000 followers.

“If you don’t sit for something, you’ll never get the treat,” says Baboy on his Instagram page.

Polchleb, who has his two dachshunds Billie and Ollie “working” with him, was curious how many people are doing the same so he created Instagram account Dogs Working From Home. He posted a photo of Billie and Ollie “helping him out” and then asked other social media users to share the photos of their furry “assistants.”

The response was overwhelming, as it turned out that there are numerous pups with a hard-working attitude out there. In less than a week, Polchleb’s newly created account received hundreds of submissions and now has over 75K followers.

According to Polchleb, his only rule when it comes about choosing which photo to post is that the dog is actually “working from home.”

“We’ve had people submitting dogs at cafes, which is a big ‘no-no’ from me. We want to see those doggos at home with their families where everyone should be staying for now,” he told My Modern Met in a recent chat.

Denver-based pet owner Peter Smith recently shared a funny clip on social media that shows how his dogs trashed the house while he was away and then acted as nothing happened.

On July 24th, Peter came back home and was in for an unpleasant surprise. Almost his entire house, including the living room and kitchen, was covered with white flour. He started searching for the culprit, but didn’t have to look for long.

Peter opened his bedroom door only to find his two dogs Ody and Eos there. Ody was lying on his bed, with his mouth still covered in flour while Eos was chilling on the floor. When their owner started asking questions, both dogs gave him a dumb look and acted like they don’t know what he was talking about.

]]> Animals can be funny in their own way—cats for being grumpy and dogs when they have done something wrong. But a three-legged Italian greyhound named Sparky is a character himself. He has a funny smile that can truly make your day. However, he’s even more hilarious when his owner tries to pose for a picture with him. Before the shot, Sparky suddenly melts in Kennedy Simmons’ hands.

Simmons is a veterinary assistant and met Sparky at the office. He had broken his leg with his previous family. Although he got surgery, his family was super scared to let him do anything that could cause him to injure himself again. That’s when Sparky got a new dad.

“Sparky is so fun to be around. He is the biggest goofball, but he is also very mischievous. If you don’t have eyes on him, he gets up on the table and snags food or goes and grabs my socks from the hamper,” Simmons said in an interview for Bored Panda.

Unfortunately, the dog’s leg had to be amputated because the pain still hasn’t stopped after the second surgery. However, it hasn’t stop Sparky’s soul from blossoming and his body from melting.

]]> Casper’s owner Pam Quinn is an avid singer and she often sings around the house. Casper is always right by her side, wagging his tail and eagerly joining in with his own version of the tune.

“He is definitely obsessed with singing. He is a big fan of Disney. Also Broadway,” she says in an interview for The Dodo and explains how the singing happened. “One day I was just playing a guitar and singing and he decided to start singing along.” And never stopped.

Some might say that Casper is tone-deaf, as his singing voice is quite unique. But to his owner and the online community is the most beautiful music. Whenever Quinn starts to sing, the canine can’t help but join in.

“He has to steal the spotlight,” Quinn adds.

The doggo’s singing talent has become quite well-known in the online community and he has even been featured on America’s Got Talent.

While Casper may not be the next American Idol, he certainly brings joy to all who hear him sing. His love for music and his owner’s voice is truly special and it is a joy to witness their bond every time they perform together.

]]> The audience and the judges at the recent Miss São Mateus do Sul beauty pageant in Brazil witnessed a unique catwalk performance that they won’t forget anytime soon. At one point during the competition, a super-confident dog crashed the stage and completely stole the show.

Danieli Link Weber, who was among the people who watched the pageant, fortunately, recorded the whole thing and later posted it on her TikTok. The short clip, which quickly became viral,  shows the dog taking an elegant walk down the runway, stopping to give the audience a brief look. He then gets off the stage, leaving everyone amazed.

The Dodo reached out to Weber, who revealed that everyone at the show was thrilled by the surprise competitor.  “I laughed and clapped,” Weber said. “I thought it was great. He was cheered. There was a lot of laughter and applause from the audience.”

Everyone at Miss São Mateus do Sul immediately crowned the dog as the winner of the competition. Even the official winner of the pageant, Jennifer Jaworski, admitted that the dog got the biggest ovations. And she didn’t even mind.  

“I loved how everyone reacted to him,” Jaworski shared. “I definitely applauded even more. I love animals.”

]]> Dogs are not just the best friends of humans, but they also tend to look like them. We all have at least once seen a cute doggo that resembles someone we know or some popular figure from showbiz. The latter case turns out to be more common than we realize and is best seen in a viral Twitter thread by Barcelona-based user Joaquim Campa.

Campa recently decided to start a series of posts on social media in which he finds showcases adorable dogs from around the world that could serve as doppelgangers for various celebrities. The thread quickly became popular, and rightfully so as the resemblance between celebs and doggos is incredible.

Just take a look at these two adorable canines that look just like Richard Gere and John Travolta. You would probably think the same even without the title helping you recognize the link.

Other Twitter users also joined in the fun and shared more photos of dogs looking like celebs. This includes a pup that unbelievably resembles Star Trek star Patrick Stewart.

Campa updated the thread with more examples later on and even shared canines that look like Russia’s President Vladimir Putin and businessman Richard Branson. Check them out below.

]]> In recent years, people have successfully used protests to raise their voices against injustice and all sorts of other problems in the world. While this is great for humankind, where does it leave the dogs? No one is protesting to solve their problems like unwanted baths, fake ball throws, and lack of dropped food.

Well, one dog is trying to change this. An adorable puppy by the name of Baboy has taken his protest to Instagram, where his owner regularly shares all sorts of demonstrating signs.

Baboy’s fight was inspired by the popular Instagram profile “Dude with Sign” according to his owner. Although it all started as a fun side project, the doggo’s protests quickly won over the internet with his funny messages, and he now has more than 100,000 followers.

“If you don’t sit for something, you’ll never get the treat,” says Baboy on his Instagram page.

Polchleb, who has his two dachshunds Billie and Ollie “working” with him, was curious how many people are doing the same so he created Instagram account Dogs Working From Home. He posted a photo of Billie and Ollie “helping him out” and then asked other social media users to share the photos of their furry “assistants.”

The response was overwhelming, as it turned out that there are numerous pups with a hard-working attitude out there. In less than a week, Polchleb’s newly created account received hundreds of submissions and now has over 75K followers.

According to Polchleb, his only rule when it comes about choosing which photo to post is that the dog is actually “working from home.”

“We’ve had people submitting dogs at cafes, which is a big ‘no-no’ from me. We want to see those doggos at home with their families where everyone should be staying for now,” he told My Modern Met in a recent chat.

]]> Dogs are intelligent animals and they can realize when they do something that they shouldn’t have. This also means that they know when to act dumb and try to get away with it.

Denver-based pet owner Peter Smith recently shared a funny clip on social media that shows how his dogs trashed the house while he was away and then acted as nothing happened.

On July 24th, Peter came back home and was in for an unpleasant surprise. Almost his entire house, including the living room and kitchen, was covered with white flour. He started searching for the culprit, but didn’t have to look for long.

Peter opened his bedroom door only to find his two dogs Ody and Eos there. Ody was lying on his bed, with his mouth still covered in flour while Eos was chilling on the floor. When their owner started asking questions, both dogs gave him a dumb look and acted like they don’t know what he was talking about.
