Apparently, the dog got tired of being in a kennel and made a run for it. Fortunately, she managed to get down safely, and there were no consequences for her daring escape.

“Maybe Luna’s climbing skills are the reason her owner decided not to pick her up,” ACPR wrote while sharing a couple of Luna’s photos.

Luna’s intelligence was later on full display when she “graduated” from the Ridge Dog Training Program and entered a foster program. She was the first candidate to be selected, being a perfect choice “because she’s outgoing and very friendly.”

ACPR later shared another update on Luna, saying that she is doing great in the foster program.

“She is the biggest sweetheart, and everyone adores her! She has a cozy bed but prefers the tile floor with her legs against the wall, exactly how she is in the picture below is how you’ll find her 90% of the time,” ACPR added while reminding everyone that Luna is still available for adoption.

Metro de Medellin recently shared Misha’s story in a viral thread posted on X (former Twitter). According to the thread, the cat was adopted two years ago by her current owners, who live close to the Villa Sierra metro station. It wasn’t long before the cat wanted to explore her surroundings.

One day, Misha wandered to Villa Sierra, where she was spotted by the staff, who welcomed her in the best way possible, played with her a bit, and then took her back home.

“But the next day I visited the Villa Sierra station again, I just went for a while to greet them, make them smile and that’s how the days began to pass,” Metro de Medellin wrote.

Since then, Misha has been a regular at Villa Sierra. During off-hours, she hangs out with the staff, receives pampers and food, and snoozes on the cool floors. When rush hour kicks in, she provides a helping hand, controlling access to the cars and sometimes helping the operator.

Misha is also quite popular with passengers, who regularly take some time to snap a few photos of Villa Sierra’s most famous “employee.” So, if you find yourself in Medellin, make sure to take the metro to Villa Sierra and greet Misha. It will definitely be one of the highlights of your trip.

In a viral video shared by TikTok user @sharktherescuefish, one person detailed how they came across a fish tank someone left in the alley for garbage collectors to pick up. After taking a closer look, they noticed something was moving; there was still a fish inside.

The person decided to take the fish tank home and clean it so the fish could have a much better home. They also added gems, bought some food for the fish, and found it a perfect place in their house.

“He seems happy now… I’ll buy him some new things soon,” the rescuer shared in the video, which got more than eight million views while revealing that the fish is now called Shark.

Shark’s rescuer later also shared a number of follow-up videos that show the fish enjoying its new home and various upgrades it got for the aquarium, including a filter, some friends to hang out with, and live plants. Check them out below.

Since the dog spent at least a week inside the container, the U.S. Coast Guard acted swiftly to take her to the Forever Changed Animal Rescue in Pasadena. The officers also came up with a name for the dog, naming her Connie.

Once Connie arrived at Forever Changed Animal Rescue, she underwent a full checkup, considering the poor condition she had been in. This included an ultrasound test, which revealed that Connie was actually pregnant!

Luckily, her time in the shipping container didn’t seem to have consequences on her condition, but Forever Changed Animal Rescue is taking a cautious approach in order to ensure she gives birth to healthy pups.

“The fetuses have strong heartbeats and were bouncing around, so while her pregnancy is guarded due to her being without food and water for eight days or more, we are hopeful given what we could see. Connie will be residing with our veterinarian through pregnancy, and we will continue to update her and her babies,” Forever Changed Animal Rescue shared in a Facebook post.

He brought it to Charleston Animal Society for a health check but couldn’t get himself to leave it there.

Jones made a decision to adopt the kitten and welcome it to his family. The kitten, named Tabby Rashard Jones, got an opportunity for a better life while Jones made a friend for life.

Jones later shared more details about Tabby in a chat with The Dodo, saying that he actually discovered the kitten by accident. He was volunteering at a local church and was asked by a churchgoer to walk them to their car. While they were passing by a dumpster, the churchgoer heard the “meows”, and Jones decided to check the dumpster before finding the kitten.

According to Jones, he is getting used to life as a cat dad, and he is loving every moment of it.

“He’s a busybody. He runs all over. He’s been climbing up my Christmas tree. He’s exactly what I needed,” Jones shared. “Having him in my life is something I didn’t know I needed.”

In order to test the boundaries of this “chillness,” Holland-Batt took small rakes and some stones with the intention of using the cat’s fur as a surface on which she recreated a Japanese rock garden. And it totally worked.

Lola’s grey and smooth fur was perfect for drawing the landscape with the rakes, and she didn’t mind tiny rocks and leaves either.

Holland-Batt later shared some photos of the project on social media and unwillingly caused a “cat zen garden” craze on the internet.

Other users immediately tried to see whether their cats are also suitable for zen garden, but it’s safe to say they had little success. Other cats apparently didn’t share Lola’s chillness and were not having it.
