Ted first took a piece of cardboard and placed it in front of Ruby to sniff it. Each time Ruby would touch the cardboard with her nose, she was rewarded with a treat.
Next, Ted places the cardboard piece into a box and teaches Ruby to target the piece. He attaches the box to piano keys and starts playing a composition by Sergei Rachmaninoff, with Ruby playing alongside him by touching the cardboard piece in the box at her owner’s command.
The video ended up receiving 166K likes and impressed Instagram users.
“This dog plays the piano better than me! Maybe I should look for a dog handler for my music lessons?” one user wrote in the comments section.
Some users even decided to use the idea for their dogs.

]]>Scottish folds experienced quite a boom online in recent years thanks to their owl-like appearance, but there’s something that separates Seamus from other similar kittens. He’s a long-haired Scottish fold, best known for his lush black fur and fluffy grinch feet.
Seamus was approximately eight months old when he was rescued in Kuwait, and he was later taken to the United States, where he’s now living his best life.
“He now spends his days in sunny South Florida and spends most of his days napping, playing, eating, watching birds, and being cute… He doesn’t usually like to cuddle but does prefer to be in the same room with his humans,” reads Seamus’ official website.
Seamus isn’t the only adorable pet in his household. His owners adopted two more rescues – Pete, who has only three legs, and Opie, who is blind. They sometimes appear in videos on his Instagram page @seamus_the_scottish_fold, which attracted over 315,000 followers.

]]>Carson Springs Wildlife, based in Gainesville, Florida, recently shared a clip of a cheetah named Tuesday and a tortoise named Penzi eating from the same bowl. The two animals looked like they truly enjoyed their mealtime while being careful not to disturb each other.
To make it even more interesting, Tuesday snacked on veggies despite cheetahs being known as carnivores. Apparently, the big cat decided it was time to try a vegetarian diet and actually liked it.
“Tuesday loves to eat Penzi’s diet!!” Carson Springs Wildlife wrote in the caption of the video hinting that this might be a recurring occurrence.
The video received a lot of attention on social media, getting 700K likes and thousands of comments. Instagram users were impressed with the cheetah’s vegetarian diet as well as how the pair gets so well together.

]]>In a video shared on TikTok, @theogmady can be seen taking attending to her guinea pig pets. At one point, she takes a small pouch and notices there is something inside. After she puts the pouch down, a small guinea pig jumps out to TikToker’s apparent shock.
“We thought we had two girl guinea pigs …” it says in the text posted in the video, which got viewed more than four million times since being posted in late March.
Other TikTok users were amused by the video, although some wondered how @theogmady could fail to notice that there was a baby guinea pig running inside. As it turns out, newborn guinea pigs are born with full fur and are immediately active and can run around.
Later on, @theogmady shared a series of photos in which she detailed the story about her guinea pig pets. It turned out that the black guinea pig Jesse is actually a male while the white one named Bo Peep is a girl. She also added that “mama and baby are doing great.”

]]>In a video shared by Ring, a company that manufactures security cameras and home protection systems, an albino squirrel can be seen triggering a front-door camera of one of their clients.
The squirrel is carrying a nut and obviously has intentions to stash it in the twig sculpture at the entrance. However, after realizing there is no opening in the sculpture, the animal decides to rest on top of it and think through its next move.
Internet users were amazed by the sight, and some of them realized for the first time that albino squirrels exist.
“It is adorable, have never seen one and didn’t even there was any,” one commenter wrote.
While Asia is home to two different species of white squirrel, they don’t exist in the wild in North America. The squirrel captured by the Ring camera is likely an eastern grey squirrel with a case of albinism. One of the consequences of this condition is a lack of melanin production, which results in white fur and pinkish or red eyes.

]]>It turned out that the iguana didn’t want or was unable to move. It remained sitting on the fence for two days, causing Nunez to become concerned. She decided to publish a post on Facebook, looking to reach anyone who is able to help out.
“Because we are concerned and don’t want him to come to any harm (from our cats or otherwise) and we too old to run behind a dinosaur … he’s been there for 2 days now without food or water and we doh know what to do,” Nunez wrote in a post while attaching couple of videos.
Nunez’s pleas were quickly answered by the El Socorro Centre for Wildlife Conservation. The organization sent one staffer who picked up the reptile and took it to their rescue center for examination with the intention of releasing it into the wild. It turned out that the iguana was a female that was possibly carrying eggs and was “seeking warmth.”
“So glad we were able to save her and allow her to live out her days comfortably,” Nunez shared in a caption of the rescue video.

In a video posted on Teddie and Casper’s social media account, their owner can be seen carrying some of the fur they shed in a small cage. He places the cage next to the bird feeder and waits until the birds notice it.
It doesn’t take long before one birdy spots the fur and decides to take some to build itself a warm and comfortable home.
TEDDIE & CASPER “We’ve kindly donated our fur so the birdies can make their nests warm & cozy,” it says in the caption of the video.
