When cats set their mind to something, it seems like nothing can stop them, not even their disabilities. A recent viral video shared on TikTok serves as a perfect example of that.
In a clip, which amazed social media users, a cat named Penny can be seen being way up the canyon while her owners look in disbelief. The feline hiked the mountain despite having a cerebral hypoplasia, a condition that makes her “a little wobbly and off balance.”
After enjoying the views, Penny decides to come down and gets rewarded with some treats.
“Nothing stops Penny,” it says in the caption of the video, who received more than 40 million views since being shared several days ago.
Penny’s perseverance and determination amazed TikTok users, who praised the feline in the comments section.
“Penny wanted to prove something there,” one user wrote.
“That was on her bucket list! She was fearless coming back down too!!!,” another added.
A lot of users also recommended that Penny’s owners get a “hawk vest” for the cat. A hawk west is fitted to smaller pets when they are outdoors and protects them from birds of prey. It is also useful against attacks of other predators like coyotes.
