TikToker Has Separation Anxiety From Her Dog While at the Club, So She FaceTimed Him

Separation anxiety is quite common in dogs, which become upset and stressed when they are separated from their humans for long periods of time. But this goes both ways because lots of pet owners feel the same way when they are not around their beloved furry friends.

During a recent visit to a club, TikToker Carly Mickeal felt separation anxiety from her golden retriever Jasper kick in, so she decided to FaceTime him. In a viral video shared on social media, Mickeal can be seen dancing and pointing out to her smartphone while Jasper is curiously looking at him through the screen. She then sends him a few kisses, letting the dog know she misses him a lot.

Mickeal’s clip ended up spreading across social media, receiving more than 11 million views since being posted in early April. And it also showed that there are plenty of other pet owners who are willing to do the same in order to cope with separation anxiety.

“That’s hilarious because that’s something I would do. lol,” one TikToker wrote in the comments section.

“Me on vacation and I miss my dog,” another added.

So there you have it. If you are missing your pet, turn to the magic of FaceTime. It might not make the separation anxiety go away, but both you and your pet will feel better.
