]]>As it turns out, Mishka mysteriously ended up in Detroit, where she was spotted by one resident. They called the police, who took the dog to the local animal welfare organization, Grosse Pointe Animal Adoption Society (GPAAS).
GPAAS staff discovered that Mishka has a chip and they contacted Mehrad and Liz, who were preparing for a family visit to Minneapolis. As soon as they landed, Mehrad took a 10-hour drive to Detroit in order to pick up Mishka.
It is unclear how Mishka ended up so far from home, but Liz has a theory that someone stole the dog in San Diego and took her to Detroit. One telling clue in support of this theory is that Mishka can now learn to sit on command, something that she didn’t know before.
“It’s a 100% miracle, and we never gave up hope. And I knew that we were going to get her back,” Liz later told The Associated Press.
GPAAS later shared a video on social media documenting Mishka’s story and reunion with her owners.

In the clip, Bruce can be seen walking reluctantly to Nicholson before deciding he had enough. The pupper then simply raises his paw and makes it look like it was broken. After seeing his owner isn’t buying it, he ends his act.

As it turns out, Bruce isn’t the only dog who tries to get away from certain activities by faking an injury.
“My dog does this. sometimes he forgets what paw hurts and switches between them,” one TikToker shared in the comments section.
“My pug didn’t want to go for walks so faked a limp, £100 later at the vets and they told me he was FAKING IT,” another added.

The video starts with Norma standing at the door, getting ready to walk out.
“This is what you’ve been training for. Okay. You ready? You ready? Go, go, go!,” Norma’s owner can be heard telling the dog.
As soon as the door opens, Norma gets in a full sprint but immediately stops when she sees three baby pigs at the doorstep. The pupper manages to get a few barks out of her before running away in the opposite direction.
As it turns out, Norma isn’t the biggest fan of baby pigs, or any other pigs for that matter.
“Norma’s non-negotiable is baby pigs. Or pigs of any age really,” her owner explains the Norma’s reaction in the caption of the video. “She won’t go near them, she isn’t interested in playing with them, and she for sure isn’t going to corral them back to their pen. Full stop, Norma says no to pigs.”

The clip shows Megan waiting until her humans leave the house and then immediately starting to size up the fence and looking for ways to get to the pool. After several failed attempts, the dog manages to jump over and finds herself in the pool; happier than ever.
To make it all even better, Megan got out of the pool and jumped over the fence again by the time the family returned home. Unfortunately, the wet fur gave her away.
