]]>She was rescued, brought home, given a bath, and instantly began following her mom and dad around. However, when bedtime came, she crawled underneath her mom’s sweatshirt. And since then, it became her favorite thing to do.
When she wants to get snuggled, she starts whining. She knows how to get her way, that’s for sure.
“My husband works from home, and she would just constantly try to jump up on his lap. So now he takes his Zoom calls with his clients with Angie in his shirt. We are constantly holding her. I literally can’t get any work done,” Tiffany from Sleepy Pig Farm Animal Sanctuary told The Dodo.
“She is really just such a love. If I’m ever sad, she is so comforting. I’m so glad that we were able to bring her to a happy and amazing home. Now we just give her all the love and comfort that she deserves,” Angie’s mom added.

]]>A funny video recently shared on Life with Pigs on YouTube channel shows Ryan Phillips, president of the sanctuary, lying on a couch as two pigs try to join him. One pig quickly snuggles alongside Phillips while the other one struggles to find a place for itself.
Soon, Phillips gets up in a sitting position to accommodate both pigs. But that didn’t cut it because a third pig also started demanding its place on the couch. The three pigs soon engage in a shouting match, with each looking to get comfortable.
Phillips quickly realizes that there is no way all of them remain on the couch. So, gets off the couch and lets the pig have it all for themselves. However, something tells us that they probably still kept arguing about who would get a better spot.
“How do you fit three pigs and one human on a couch? A takes a little pushing, a lot of noise, and a complete lack of cooperation. Oh and a little luck!” it says in the caption of the video.

]]>Sparky was only three weeks old and in terrible condition when he was found. He was covered in mange, a parasitic disease of the skin caused by one of two mites, either Sarcoptes scabiei or Demodex phylloides.
Because of his condition, Tiffany and Joe had to isolate the piglet and wear gloves when touching him. He showed his true colors when his skin got better: a black pig with pink spots.
At first, Sparky was afraid, but as days went by, he got used to his new life. Soon enough, he was running the sanctuary. He gets along great with everyone—including the chickens who like to share their snacks with their little friend.
Although he is small and super-cute, his mom and dad know that he will get bigger, like other pigs.
“He is 12 pounds, but Sparky, one day, will be a couple of hundred pounds. I hope that people understand that pigs don’t stay as small as Sparky. They will still be super cute forever, but they will get bigger,” they said in an interview for The Dodo.

]]>His mom Maddie doesn’t know how much Pickles will grow, but she estimates that he’ll weigh from 60 to 70 pounds. He gets along with all of his “siblings”—but his best friend is a French bulldog named Dill.
The little buddies are very close to one another and they do everything together. They like to share snacks, go for a run, and even can’t have a bath if the other isn’t around.
Pickles’ and Dill’s love for one another is so powerful that they don’t mind sharing the bed and love having cuddle time.
Just like his dog siblings, the pig was also potty trained, so no accidents can happen in the house. Maybe he doesn’t even know that he’s a pig!
They all have an Instagram account where their mom posts beautiful images of her rescue family. They’re so cute that you simply must follow their silly everyday life!

]]>He lives in a house with his human family and is into arts and crafts. Rowan likes painting, playing the instruments, and rooting. He needs constant attention and is very adored by his family. He gets multiple rake messages a day and is sometimes a little naughty. Re-decorating the living room is one of his main hobbies.
But, let us talk more about his talent for music. In one of the videos posted by his parents, Rowan plays a composition using children’s games and squeaky toys. To thank him for the performance, his mom and dad rewarded him with a few yummy slices of apple.

The devastated parents couldn’t accept that so they started looking for a pig who would do a transfusion.
“So the search was one I was like, where are we gonna find a local pig, get permission to borrow it for a blood donation and then rush it to Davis within 6 hours?” Pickles’ mom told The Dodo and added that the search began on Craigslist. After a couple of attempts, they found Tickles.
The transfusion was done and Pickles’ life was saved. Unfortunately, they couldn’t offer Tickles their home, so they found an animal sanctuary where he is living his best life.

]]>Everything began when Friedman’s friend Caitlin texted him about a pig who had been locked in a stall for over a decade and had never been outside. When finally, her owner gave her up, she arrived at her now dad’s farm. At first, Princess was very shy and didn’t want to get near anything.
“I sat with her [for] hours upon hours. I didn’t approach her ever. I let her walk up to me. It was at least a 2, 2.5-month process of her just being comfortable to walk up to me,” Friedman told The Dodo. “Touching her was probably 4 months. And she was really good about trying every day to move past that fear.”
Now she is behaving like a true Princess and loves her dad to the moon and back, and her dad adores her as well.
“She just goes up, ‘You got any cookies?’ That smile just melts hearts, especially mine,” he added.

]]>“The pigs will lay down and then Ernest hops up,” their mom told The Dodo. “He wants to be part of the group. He wants to be part of the fun. He thinks it’s a really warm and relaxing place.”
Everything started with him rubbing against them, but now, they are best buddies, so Ernest likes to clean them, especially their ears. However, the feline has made other friends, as well.
“He’s very curious. He’s always up on a fence post, watching and observing the animals. Everybody here is friends,” she added.
