This Zoo Is Starting “Breakfast With Animals” This May

Imagine starting your day with a breakfast taco in one hand and a mimosa in the other, surrounded by the majestic backdrop of the African savanna. Sounds like a dream? Well, the Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden is making it a reality with their new “Breakfast with the Animals” events every Saturday morning in May.

Jenna Dodson, the zoo’s Event Manager, expressed excitement about introducing zoo fans to this unique dining experience.

Behind the scenes, zoo professionals all over the country are passionate about creating opportunities for guests to connect with wildlife in meaningful ways. “Breakfast with the Animals” is a perfect example. The event not only serves as a delightful culinary adventure but also supports the zoo’s mission of wildlife conservation and education.

An added perk of the experience is the included giraffe feeding session, allowing guests to interact directly with these majestic animals. It’s a rare opportunity to engage with wildlife up close, enhancing the overall experience and creating memories that last a lifetime.

While “Breakfast with the Animals” is a unique offering of the Oklahoma City Zoo, its appeal transcends geographical boundaries, serving as a wonderful example of how zoos around the world can create engaging, educational, and conservation-oriented experiences for visitors.
