Did you know that pigs can learn tricks? But just like all animals, they will only stay committed to performing them if they get rewarded.
One pig owner recently shared an adorable video on Instagram that shows Daisy the mini pig performing a spinning trick to score a fresh strawberry.
Daisy’s owner calls the pig and asks her whether she wants a strawberry. Of course, the pig immediately comes. But before giving her the fruit, the owner asks Daisy to spin.
Amazingly, Daisy performs a full spin before taking the strawberry out of her human’s hand and starting to munch on it.
“Daisy’s, first week home! She was so proud to show off her new trick!” Daisy’s owner wrote in the caption of the video.
Since Instagram users were not only impressed by Daisy’s skills but also her adorable miniature appearance, her owner decided to raise some awareness about mini pigs.
They pointed out that Daisy is only a baby and will get a lot bigger.
“Mini pigs grow to be 70-150lbs on average, but some breeds of miniatures could reach up to 350lbs. Micro/teacup pigs are NOT real. Mini pigs are only considered “mini” compared to 800+lb farm hogs,” Daisy’s owner added.
