Daphne the Boston Terrier is Psyched About Finally Learning to Use Doggie Door

We are always excited when we learn a new skill and feel proud of ourselves. The dogs often react the same, and a viral video recently shared by Instagram user Tess Nolan provides a perfect example of that.

The clip captures the moment when Daphne, a four-year-old Boston Terrier, finally learns to use the doggie door. When Daphne walks through the doggie door for the first time, she jumps joyfully and can’t contain her excitement. Her humans react in the same way, jumping up and down to celebrate the big milestone.

“The twirls of excitement!” Nolan captioned the video.

Daphne’s contagious display of excitement became a huge hit on Instagram, with the video receiving 380K likes since being posted last week.

“Omg she knew what a good job she did the second she got through,” one Instagram user wrote in the comments section.

“Her humans being right there jumping and screaming out of excitement for her is the beeeessstttt!!!” another added.

We believe that Daphne will enjoy her newfound skill, as it gives her more independence and the ability to go outdoors whenever she likes. As a bonus, we are sure she also got some tasty treats after successfully overcoming the challenge.
