Adri Rachelle Rescues Neglected Animals, Has Already Saved Almost 200

Adri Rachelle has a soft spot for all types of animals. The founder of Wild Things Sanctuary has already taken in almost 200 animals, spending tons of money to make sure these neglected animals are cared for. And it’s not just typical pets like dogs, cats, and bunnies she’s rescuing—no animal is off-limits for Rachelle.

After rescuing animals for years and wanting to turn her love of saving animals into a full-time thing, she founded Wild Things Sanctuary: “It became clear to me that this wasn’t a hobby for me, it had been the story of my life since I was a child and I wanted to officially choose it as my life’s primary focus,” she told Bored Panda.

Many of the animals she cares for are neglected, seniors, or unhealthy, so the job can be extremely demanding. Some of the many animals the sanctuary has are ducks, cows, pigs, goats, mules, parrots, dogs, cats, ferrets, alpacas, tortoises, and chickens.

While taking care of animals can be exhausting and cost a lot of money, Rachelle loves every second of it and you can see how dedicated she is to it by scrolling on her social media.

“I receive their affection, smile at their joy, laugh at their antics, and reciprocate their love all day long! … It’s my heaven on Earth… but it is technically very demanding,” she told the media outlet.
