Driver Takes Selfies With Dogs He Sees Along His Route

Jason Hardesty is a young man from New Orleans who is working as a UPS driver and is on a special mission. Few years ago, Jay, as he likes to be called, started taking pictures with dogs he found along his route. Every Friday, he shares one selfie with a furry little buddy he previously met to his Instagram with the hashtag #PupsofJay.

After writer Jami Attenberg tweeted about Jay’s story, #PupsofJay gained public attention and this loving young man is now becoming an Instagram sensation. His lovely story already gained him more than ten thousand followers. However, Hardesty told Insider that dogs on his previous route were not so happy to meet him.

“My old route that I was on, the dogs in that area weren’t really too friendly. The would always want to be guard dogs, or aggressive dogs because it was more of a family area. But when they moved me to a certain part of town which has not as many families, the dogs are a lot nicer.”

Even though he loves pups, you’ll be surprised to hear that Jay doesn’t have a dog of his own. But we guess that meeting so many of them during weeks makes up for that.
