Mischievous Dog Tries to Escape Pet Shelter, Gets “Arrested” on the Spot

All dogs want is freedom. And they will stop at nothing to achieve it, even if that means getting in trouble with the law.

Animal sanctuary Lost Our Home Pet Rescue in Tempe, Arizona, recently shared a cool video in which they chronicled one husky’s attempt to break out from their facility.

The husky, named King, can be seen opening the door of his kennel and then trying to set other residents free. After he fails, the dog then decides he’ll make a run by himself.

King manages to open the door that leads to the office and proceeds to make some mess. At that point, an officer from the Tempe Police Department arrives, responding to an alarm set off by King.

The officer proceeds to “arrest” the dog, and return him to his chambers. Next, he cleans up the entire mess King made so he doesn’t get in trouble.

“I was looking at the footage the next morning. 2 in the morning. I’m like, ‘How is that possible?’ I had no idea the officer was going to clean up, and I saw it, and I was just like, wow, amazing man that he did that,” Lost Our Home Pet Rescue founder Jodi Polanski said in a chat with Fox 10 Phoenix.
