This is peacock spider. Its name comes from the colorful body it displays in order to stand out during mating season.
It’s so tiny yet has such a complex display. This type of spider lives only in certain parts of Australia, so it has been difficult to approach and document. Luckily, this has changed recently thanks to Jürgen Otto, who created the video you can see below.
