Mr. Bagel, a mosaic chinchilla, was adopted by Steve Byun from an animal shelter in San Francisco, but now resides in Southern California.
He has more than 100k followers on Instagram. He uses his popularity as a platform for animal rights and anti-fur activism. He wants to spread the message that fur will never be fashionable and he wants to encourage adopting over shopping.
When he’s not being a superstar, he enjoys running on his wheel, cleaning his whiskers, and eating. Mr. Bagel really loves to eat and he enjoys pushing things around in a tiny shopping cart.
