Most people would pick dogs over iguanas, but what if we told you if you could have both in a single pet? Rocket the Iguana is taking Instagram and TikTok by storm with his silly antics, and the funniest thing about him is that he often acts like a dog.
With approximately one million followers across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, Rocket is one of the most popular iguanas in the world, and he deserves all the attention coming his way. Despite being a reptile, Rocket’s owner Lee is convinced he’s actually a dog at heart, and it’s not hard to see why.
Rocket requires constant attention and he loves going on walks, so he’s the closest thing you’ll get to a golden retriever in the iguana form.
“He has the clinginess of a dog. If he sees me walk into a room and close the door, he’s always bobbing his head. He is pretty unpredictable… When he’s on a leash, his favorite thing to do is to climb up trees,” Lee told The Dodo.
In addition to loving walks, cuddles, and food, Rocket is also a huge fan of music, just like his owner Lee, and it’s always fun to watch him bob his head to the beat of his favorite songs.
