A video of a stranded cat being rescued by a group of kind strangers with the help of a ladder has been making rounds on social media and earning praise from internet users.
The clip, shot in Almaty, Kazakhstan, shows a cat being stranded on a thin sheet of ice that formed on the side of a river canal. The feline is just inches away from rushing cold water, and one wrong move could put her life in danger.
A group of people decide to take a ladder and lower it in hopes that the cat can use them to climb to safety. But instead of waiting for the ladder to get closer, the cat jumps on them and clings onto a rung before being pulled up.
Once she gets her feet firm on the ground, the cat doesn’t waste time thanking her saviors. Instead, she simply walks away in search of a new adventure.
The TikTok users rushed to the comments section to praise the kind strangers who helped the cat and make a few jokes.
